The complexity of both culture and economics are growing and growing in today ' s world , as a result, in general, of globalization and post-modernism, and, limited to our Continent, of the depthening and the enlargement of the European Union. A consequence of the above is the increasing demand for new initiatives in the areas of cultural industry and of services, aiming at promoting the knowledge of new, “transversal”, realities - cultural, political and economic, at the European and worldwide levels - as well as to support public and private entities in the development of their international operations. It is the ambition of Alpina Dialexis to play a proactive role in this context. For achieving such objective, Alpina may avail itself of its widespread network of competences and of connections. It envisages to pursue such objectives in a flexible way, both directly – e.g., in the areas of publishing, of training and of the support to business - and indirectly, in the form of the participation in joint initiatives in business and/or in culture. With this objective, Alpina is specifically open to any forms whatsoever of collaboration with the subjects – physical persons or legal entities - which may be interested in our activities as outlined above, in their roles as partners, sponsors, clients or suppliers. Alpina Dialexis aims to propose: - publications and initiatives on subjects of international, European and/or regional interest; - “packages” of training in the areas of international and business law and of transnational management; - support (contractual, strategic, linguistic) to international negotiations; - working out of development projects for public and/or business initiatives connected with international, European and regional, collaboration, and to the recovery of cultural heritage and historic memory. All the above taking into account the specific localisation of Alpina , in the heartland of the Euroregion of Western Alps, on whose different aspects, historical, cultural, economic, political and linguistic, it intends to focus. In so doing, Alpina hopes to be able to provide a useful contribution to the tremendous efforts made by the City of Torino, and by Piedmont as a whole, especially at the occasion of Turin 2006, for qualifying as a center of excellence for cultural industry and value added services. We wish to provide , by this brochure, an outline of our operational program, so to facilitate a debate with customers and partners, aiming at the definition of the best products and services to be offered by our company within the range of its competence.
